Dear Friend,

Is everything alright with you today? Do you have pain in your body? Have you found peace of mind? Is there a longing in your soul that has you looking, searching, but not finding? As I was driving home from work one afternoon, the news was on the radio. A man had shot himself, I don’t remember the details, there have been so many such reports. However, I will never forget that particular time and place. God spoke to my heart, he said, “you are on the same road as that man”.

Ever been alone? Alone is when you need help but there is no one who can help you. Jesus will carry all of your cares, pain, sin, guilt and shame, and you will never be alone again. The Bible says, “He will keep the feet of His saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail”.(1 Samuel 2:9)

At Blood Bought Church, Jesus is our Champion. “For we have not a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:15-16)
